I chose Radiologic technology because it has always been of interest to me. When I joined the service it was my first choice as my M.O.S, but I ended up in the special forces. Now that I have a chance to start a new career, maybe this time I will suceed. With our economy being in a down slope I found that the medical careers where one of the only fields that was still growing, when most of the job fields where laying off. As I did some research I also found that there is a big demand for Radiologic Technologist in both private and government. This field is growing fast because of the new technology every year. It used to be just Xray Tech but now there is MRIs, Sonagrams, and CT scans, their starting to get into 3D scans. I believe this is a career that I always be able to advance in and never get bored of. It has balance just enough contact with people to make it pleasant.
